About Me

Lola Simone: Dallas, TX, United States; Lola Simone, is a child of the eighties but her soulful jazzy singing style shows not only influences from the Hip Hop era from which she was raised, but also of R&B and Jazz divas from decades past. What makes Lola so unique musically is her jazzy voice. She has mastered a great sound by incorporating her vocals with hip hop and pop giving the new era of hip hop and pop a sexy jazzy sound. Just like many great artists before her, Lola’s passion for creating beautiful music began in her father’s church at the tender age of nine. Lola, is working hard to make her childhood desire of becoming a professional R&B/ Pop artist a reality. Lola has performed at the Roy Williams Safety Net Celebrity pair Party (2009/2010), Deon Sanders Giving Movement Benefit Dinner (2009), Marcus Spears Christmas Charity Event (2010), NBA All Star Basketball Brunch (2010), and Andre Gurode Center of Attention Charity Event (2010) just to name a few . She has exhibited her acapella talents singing our National Anthem at the Dallas Mavericks basketball games (2011) and Josh Howard Celebrity Baseball Game (2011) . As a songwriter Lola has worked with various producers within the city of Dallas.
